Smilexchange solves the problem of finding an accommodation in another city or country, by providing a simple and inexpensive solution:

Free hospitality exchange

If you are planning on staying abroad for at least eleven days, be it to study, work, or simply on vacation, you can ask another user for hospitality in the city which you intend to visit.
However the first rule of Smilexchange is mutual assistance: if you ask for hospitality you will also have to offer it.

How does our service work: after registering, choose the destination, type of exchange you prefer and the period in which you intend to ask for and offer hospitality. Then read the offers that match yours and contact the users that interest you.

There are two types of exchange: 

Synchronous (Simultaneous) exchange: this is the classic room swap/home exchange, two users trade lodgings for exactly the same period;

Asynchronous exchange: two users host each other in two different periods. The two periods can also have very different durations. 

There may be intermediate types of exchange, such as sharing the same accommodation for a longer or shorter period. The service is free.
